Hi everyone,
Well, after nearly 39 hours of being in labor, little Alex came into the world. He ended up transversing his position sideways, which caused the long labor time, and ultimately Heather had to have a C-section...they tried everything they could to turn him into the right position, but he was being a bit stubborn and just didn't want to listen. He came out crying, opening his eyes, and he even started to grasp onto the pediatrician's gold bracelet while she was cleaning him off! He passed every test the doctors gave him...they said there is absolutely nothing the matter with him. Heather is also doing well, but you can imagine she's extremely exhausted...she has had next to no sleep for the past 2 days, with only a few minutes here and there. She will have to stay in the hospital an extra 2-3 days as she heals a bit from the surgery so they can monitor her.
