Alex climbed the whole stair case today....

ok.....just so we are clear he hasn't done more than just stand and balance on the bottom step til today.... his father was sitting at the top of the stairs talking to me and alex climbed the first one... and instead of taking him off I decided to stand behind him in case he were to fall and see what he did.... at first he watched the dogs go up the stairs and then all of a sudden he climbed another step and then another and I just kept following him up so he would be safe.... he got all the way to the top without any problems or help from us..... I can't believe it..... luckily we have baby gates on both ends of the stair case.... looks like we need to be extra careful with them at all times! Geez he is growing fast!
